Un acercamiento a las estrategias de aprendizaje de idiomas

Resumen

Este artículo sistematiza aspectos esenciales de las estrategias de aprendizaje de idiomas (EAI). A partir de un análisis documental de investigaciones previas, se presentan definiciones, clasificaciones, modelos de enseñanza y vías de diagnóstico. El estudio realiza un seguimiento a autores destacados a nivel mundial, con el propósito de ofrecer información actualizada. Los resultados compilan taxonomías bien reconocidas y modelos instruccionales, identificando elementos comunes como el modelaje, la práctica guiada y la transferencia. Asimismo, se detallan instrumentos para el diagnóstico, recomendando la combinación de cuestionarios, observación y entrevistas para una evaluación fidedigna. Se concluye que la enseñanza de EAI, con un profesor que actúa como guía y modelo, es crucial para desarrollar la autonomía del estudiante y mejorar su desempeño en la lengua extranjera, haciendo el proceso más rápido, fácil y agradable. El propósito fundamental es despertar el interés de profesores e investigadores en el empleo de las EAI para elevar la calidad del proceso de aprendizaje.
