In response to the challenges of virtual education and the need to innovate in foreign language teaching, this study examined the impact of using multimedia tools in Moodle on English language learning through immersive experiences. A quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, and cross-sectional methodology was applied. The sample consisted of 120 Ecuadorian university students enrolled in English courses in hybrid or virtual mode, who completed a structured twenty-item questionnaire. The data were analyzed using statistical techniques to identify perceptions, frequency of use, and the effects of resources such as videos, audios, interactive quizzes, and simulations. The results showed that videos were perceived as the most effective resource for improving listening comprehension, followed by audios and interactive activities, which promoted pronunciation and autonomous learning. However, weaknesses were identified in the use of forums and simulations, associated with limitations in pedagogical design. It is concluded that the proper integration of multimedia tools in Moodle can enrich English language teaching in virtual environments
